Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 November 2026. The Sorted Nest (“we”, “us”) runs on Blogger (Google). This policy explains what is collected when you visit https://thesortednest.blogspot.com, and what we do with it.
1. Information collected automatically
When you visit, Blogger/Google may collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and referring site (for example, Pinterest). This is used to run the site, keep it secure and understand which content readers find useful. We do not ask you to create an account on this site.
2. Cookies
Blogger/Google and third parties may use cookies — small files stored in your browser — for site operation, security, preferences and, where applicable, advertising or analytics. If you click an Amazon affiliate link, Amazon may place its own cookies to track the referral and any qualifying purchase. Amazon’s cookies and data practices are governed by Amazon’s own privacy notice, not by this policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some site features may then work less well.
3. Comments and contact
If you leave a comment or contact us, the information you choose to share (for example, a name and message) will be visible or stored as part of that comment or message. Do not share sensitive personal information in public comments.
4. Analytics and advertising (current position)
At launch, this site does not run its own separate analytics or advertising program beyond Blogger/Google’s standard operation and Amazon affiliate links. If analytics, an email newsletter or advertising is added later, this policy will be updated before or at the time of that change.
5. Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has shared information here, please contact us through the Contact page so it can be removed.
6. Third-party links
Posts link to external sites, mainly Amazon. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
7. Your choices and rights
You can use browser controls to manage cookies, and you can choose not to click affiliate links. Depending on your location, you may have rights to ask what personal data is held about you, or to ask for correction or deletion. Requests can be made through the Contact page; we will respond as required by applicable law.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change, and the current version will always be on this page.
